1. Where did you go to college and why did you
choose this school?
Eastern Oregon University because of its location
2. Where have you taught? What grade level(s)?
Pendleton School District, grades 5-6. I started by subbing in La Grande,
Baker City, Sweet Home, Lebanon, Weston- McEwen, and Pendleton. I then
taught at EOCI and BMCC in developmental Ed of 4 years.
3. What is your current professional focus (job)?
Grade 5
4. How and why did you get involved with OCTM?
Enjoy math
5. What kind of math leadership roles have you
taken in the Oregon Math Community?
I've served on OCTM Board, item writing for ODE and
on Math Content Panel. Am now going to work on the Problem box for TOMT.
6. What are you passionate about (personal or
professional)?
I enjoy family, teaching and professionalism of
teachers
