I have been teaching in elementary classrooms around the Portland Metro area since 1981. I have taught every grade K-8, except sixth grade. I am currently assigned to a 2nd and 3rd Grade blended classroom where I am job sharing with another teacher. I am also the co-editor for The Oregon Mathematics Teacher (TOMT), the professional journal of the Oregon Council Teachers of Mathematics (O.C.T.M.) and the webmaster for that organization as well. In my spare time, I work as a math consultant and curriculum writer.
