About OML:
Every July/August, more than a hundred Oregon math educators who are passionate about teaching mathematics gather at the Oregon Math Leaders Conference at Linfield College in McMinnville. The 2020 OML conference was cancelled due to COVID and restrictions on gatherings. The 2021 Conference will also be held virtually due to continued and changing COVID restrictions.

OML has three goals:
This "math camp" will help you grow as a math educator, and you'll also have lots of fun meeting others from all over our state.
What workshops and talks are included?
Check back later for a list of OML sessions.
Once we have a tentative schedule, check back here (subject to possible changes).
We are looking forward to engaging keynote speakers as well as engaging sessions provided by Mathematics Educators!

Oregon Department of Education (ODE) math curriculum specialist Mark Freed and Andy Byerley ODE assessment specialist will address state and national trends, provide updates on opportunities statewide to become involved at a local level, and respond to your questions and comments. You will be able to express your concerns and hear how decisions are being made or what's on the table and how to provide your input. They will be addressing elementary and secondary concerns separately, so everyone will get the focused information they need.
What does the conference cost?
OCTM members: $50
Non-OCTM members: $75
Fill out the registration form here.
What are some other advantages to attending?
You will receive PDUs for attending the full conference. There is also an option for one graduate credit through Southern Oregon University for a cost of $75; click here to see information for this year's graduate credit options.
Is there any support available from OCTM for my registration costs?
Scholarships are available for OCTM members for support for this and other conferences. See the Scholarships page for more information.
How do I pay with a check or purchasing order, register multiple members at once, and/or register by mail?
If you are registering more than one person or if you wish to pay by check or purchase order, register by mail using the registration form available at this link. Remember that all registrants must be OCTM members, and each must have an OML registration form. Registration confirmation and all future conference information and updates will be sent through email, so registrants need to provide email address(es) that participant(s) can and will regularly check for vital information sent between now and the conference dates. Registrations must be postmarked by July 16.
For purchase orders, please provide a contact number and name for the district business office. If you are using a PO from fiscal year 2019-20, the PO and registration form(s) are due June 30, 2021. If you are using a PO from fiscal year 2020-21, send the PO and registration form(s) by July 6, 2021 to register. POs and registrations postmarked after July 6 will be invoiced at higher rates.
